Adrian Kennell Dingle played as a defensive tackle in American football in the National Football League (NFL) from June 25, 1977, to November 8, 2022.

He spent five seasons (2000–2005) as a member of the San Diego Chargers. Adrian started his football journey in Holly Hill, South Carolina, attending Roberts High School.

Adrian continued his education and football at Clemson University. In his final year, he set a record with 10.5 sacks in a single season. His 45 tackles for loss are the sixth-highest in school history, and his 23 career sacks rank third.

Adrian was selected in the fifth round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, an injury kept him out of the entire 1999 season. However, in 2003, he made a strong comeback, starting 15 out of 16 games and recording 37 tackles and 6 sacks.

Throughout his NFL career, Adrian accumulated 78 tackles, 14.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and even had one interception. His success on the field made him a notable figure.

It’s interesting to note that he was related to Vontrell Jamison, a former defensive end with the Dallas Cowboys, as they were cousins.
