The New AEW World Champion Jon Moxley Already Has A Challenger
The following contains spoilers for Monday’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation and Friday’s AEW Grand Slam edition of Rampage, both of which will be broadcast from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
Rampage:
- Brody King and Buddy Matthews were defeated by Sting and Darby Allin. When the lights went out during the conclusion, Matthews was almost ready to hit Sting with a baseball bat. Muta emerged and doused Matthews in mist as The Great Muta’s soundtrack played in the background. Julia Hart has knocked off the apron and onto a table as a result of Matthews. To win, Sting pinned Matthews. After the game, Sting and Muta exchanged hugs.
- Matt Menard and Angelo Parker were defeated by Hook and Action Bronson. Hook used a double redrum to give his squad the victory.
- To keep her TBS title, Jade Cargill defeated Diamante (together with Trina). Trina turned on Diamante after the match, slapping her and shaking hands with Cargill.
- Samoa Josh Woods & Tony Nese were defeated by Joe & Wardlow. The match was won by Joe and Wardlow, with Joe pinning Nese. After the game, Joe was attacked by Woods and Nese. After Mark Sterling attempted to interfere, Wardlow made the save and knocked him out with two power bombs. Sterling was powerbombed once more by Wardlow after Joe grabbed him up and flung him at him.
- Rey Fenix was defeated by Jungle Boy. Christian came out of the game with a sling on. Then Jungle Boy was ambushed from behind by Luchasaurus. Christian referred to Luchasaurus as his right hand of destruction when speaking to Jungle Boy. Then Jungle Boy was powerbombed by Luchasaurus.
- A Jericho Appreciation Society backstage interview stated that Dynamite would have an appreciation event the following week.

- Eddie Kingston was defeated by Sammy Guevara. Before the battle, Guevara made a promo in which he apologized for not calling Kingston “a fat piece of s***” sooner. Three back fists from Kingston were followed by Guevara being submitted to secure the victory. The referee reversed the contest because he wouldn’t release the hold. Kingston ultimately decided to eliminate security.
- The Golden Ticket Battle Royal was won by Hangman Page. On Tuesday, October 18th, during the airing of Dynamite, Page will receive the title shot. The Butcher, The Blade, Dark Order, Private Party, Danhausen, Dante Martin, Penta El 0 M, Brian Cage, Ari Daivari, Lance Archer, Daniel Garcia, Cole Carter, Best Friends, Jake Hager, Dalton Castle, Lee Moriarty, Matt Hardy, and Jay Lethal were some of the other competitors. Rush was defeated by Page last, giving him the victory.
- In a Lights Out match, Ricky Starks defeated Powerhouse Hobbs. Before putting Hobbs out with his finishing move to secure the victory, Starks speared Hobbs through a table.
Dark elevation:
- Skye Blue and Shawn Dean were defeated by Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian.
- Serpentico was defeated by Ortiz and Luther.
