Chainsaw Man Season 2 Release Date: Is the Anime Series Coming Back?

The world is now adding a new market for anime. They have won the hearts of so many people that they have crossed several international borders. Whether it’s My Hero Academia or Re-Life, anime generates many talks. Chainsaw Man is one of the excellent anime series that fits this description.

It was originally a manga, but we later got an anime adaptation. The 12-volume manga series of the same name by Fujimoto Tatsuki sensei, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020, is the basis for the anime series Chainsaw Man.

The tale’s protagonist is a young boy named Denji who is ready to escape a life of hardship since the yakuza has forced him to settle his late father’s debt (criminal organization; its literal translation is good for nothing). Denji’s situation worsens when he encounters what he initially thought was a low-level demon dog but is subsequently shown to embody one of humanity’s deepest fears—the fear of chainsaws.

Action fiction, comedic horror, and dark fantasy are some of the genres that Chainsaw Man abides by. It arouses curiosity in difficult-to-define ways. With a score of 8.75/10 and a popularity rank of 4, it is #41, and more than 80% of viewers rated the anime’s plot as favorable. It was praised as a compelling, swiftly-paced, and beautifully animated series.

Although it does contain some gruesome moments or, as we would put it, heartbreaking situations, not every viewer will be comfortable with them; thus, it is advised chiefly that viewers be 18+ and mentally capable before reading the manga or viewing the anime for the whole series.

Chainsaw Man Season 2 Release date

Before covering the story of the manga, Chainsaw Man, like the other brief animes, will likely have a few seasons with twelve episodes each. This suggests that even if the official crew has not yet stated it, there will surely be a second season of the anime series Chainsaw Man.

Beginning in 2022, it was agreed and announced that the manga would receive a live adaptation. On October 12, 2022, it premiered. It is an anime that is released in weekly episodes. On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, the second episode of the show’s debut season was expected to air.

Also, because there will be 12 episodes per season, the series will likely terminate in the final week of December 2022. When Mappa revealed that the manga series would be made into an anime, the fans were ecstatic because Mappa, one of the studios that produced the animation, seemed worth the wait.

Since it animated the later seasons of Shingeki no Kyojin, Mappa has been at its best (Attack on Titan). The manga had more than 23,000,000 sales as of January 2023, while the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man is widely praised and adored by viewers.

As the creators have not released formal statements since February 2023, we can assume that the anime will debut in 2023 or early 2024.
