Treatment for Merkel Cell Carcinoma
Treatment depends on how advanced the cancer is. Early cases are usually treated with surgery and radiation therapy. Late-stage cases often require systemic immunotherapy to boost the body’s immune system to fight the cancer.
Preventing Skin Cancer
Merkel cell carcinoma is linked to sun exposure, so protecting your skin from UV rays is crucial. Pay attention to changes in your skin, and see a doctor if you notice anything unusual.
Bladder cancer is another type of cancer that affects many people. It’s more common in older individuals, especially men in their 70s. Treatment for bladder cancer is improving, with robotic surgery showing promising results.
Early Detection and Treatment
If you notice any health changes, don’t hesitate to see a healthcare provider. Research and clinical trials continue to improve cancer treatment.
Terry Bradshaw’s Successful Battle
Thankfully, Terry Bradshaw’s treatment for both cancers was successful, and he’s now cancer-free. He’s grateful for the support and prayers he received and looks forward to feeling like his old self again.
