Don Geronimo Wife: Meet Janet Sorce

Michael L. Sorce, who is more famous as his radio character Don Geronimo, is married to Janet Sorce, a radio personality. While Michael enjoys his fame on the radio, his wife Janet prefers to stay away from public attention. Michael has been working in broadcasting since he was 13 years old. He began his journey at the AM station WINX in Rockville, Maryland, and his dedication to his work has grown over his 52 years of experience.

The Don Geronimo Show first aired on WBIG-FM, a station affiliated with iHeart, in Rockville, MD, on November 16, 2021. It was broadcast from 5:30 to 10:00 in the morning, catering to listeners in the Washington, DC suburbs. Interestingly, this station is only two kilometers away from where Geronimo started his radio career at the age of 13.

Unfortunately, in July 2023, Geronimo got into trouble for making disrespectful comments about a female sports reporter from WUSA9, which led to his firing from the station. Michael L. Sorce, known as Don Geronimo, is married to his second wife, Janet. They got married on March 21, 2009, when Janet was almost 45 years old, and Michael was 50.

Tragically, on July 10, 2005, Don’s first wife, Freda, passed away in a car accident on Route 90 in Maryland, not too far from Ocean City. Don took a break from his show after this unexpected loss and returned on August 1, 2005, with his own show.

Janet is really happy and proud of her children, Bart and Amy Sorce. Don and his first wife, Freda, had their first child, Bart, in 1985. Bart and his wife Nicole became parents on February 15, 2016, when they had a daughter named Arlo June Sorce. Both Janet and Don Geronimo love their granddaughter, Arlo, a lot.
