Endeavour Season 8 Release Date: Cast, Plot, How to Watch?

Endeavour Season 8

This June, Endeavour Season 8 will premiere on PBS, and the clock is ticking for Endeavour Morse (played by Shaun Evans). Endeavor’s final season on PBS will consist of just six episodes, according to the network’s announcement.

Morse and Thursday are on the hunt for yet another killer in the latest trailer for the show, which was posted by the network. Fans of Masterpiece know what to expect from the new episodes, as they have already seen Endeavour Season 8 air on ITV in the UK.

This includes whether a certain cast member who was absent from the last set of episodes will return. What we know about the penultimate season of Endeavour is below.

Endeavour Season 8 Plot

The following is the plot summary provided by PBS: “For Morse, Thursday, and the rest of their team, it’s a new year (it’s 1971), which means new cases and challenges. With their minds reeling from last year’s events, they are called upon to look into cases involving the IRA and an unsettling spate of murders that could wind up endangering not just the public, but possibly their own lives.”

During an interview with PBS, Evans confirmed that the new episodes will take place immediately following the events of the previous finale. This is what Evans revealed: “When we pick Endeavour up in February 1971, he is a drunkard who doesn’t show up for work and calls in sick a lot.” “Over the entire season, that’s what we see Slowly, but surely, it’s growing worse.”

The trailer does not reveal much about the mental state of the main character, but it does show Thursday and Morse trying to solve a series of unrelated deaths.
