Funds bullish on Godaddy, Capital World Investors enters while BlackRock increases its stake

Third quarter saw funds taking long positions and showing bullishness and faith in Godaddy management. BlackRock Inc increased its holdings in Godaddy by 15.5% and now has a total exposure of $831M+ in the domain registrar.

Several other funds like Janus Henderson Group PLC , Renaissance Technologies LLC, William Blair Investment Management LLC and Franklin Resources Inc boosted their holdings in Godaddy in the third quarter. Godaddy has been doing great and its aftermarket and name selling service is also dominating the market.

World’s biggest domain registrar serves 18 million customers and has some 77M+ domains under management. The goods happening around Godaddy has finally generated enough buzz to make the world’s oldest and largest investment organization, Capital World Investors, with $1.87 trillion in assets under management to take a position in Godaddy. Capital World Investors bought 142,000 shares of Godaddy in the third quarter betting some $11.8M on the domain giant. As a matter of fact, Institutional investors and hedge funds now own 94.82% of the company’s stock!
