The Titanic star, Leonardo DiCaprio went above and beyond the asking price to purchase the Spanish Colonial home in Los Angeles ‘ Los Feliz neighborhood for $7.1 million.
The house did build in 1928 and highlights four bedrooms and four bathrooms spread out over 5,000 square feet.
It has a history of celebrity owners including No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani, who purchased it in 1998 with her then-husband Gavin Rossdale.
The couple furnished the home with some luxurious upgrades, including adding a swimming pool in the hillside backyard.
Later in 2007, the house sold for $4.8 million to television producer Mark Brazil, he only owned the house for a short time and sold it at a loss of nearly a million dollars to Lara Merriken, the proprietor of the Lärabar energy snack bar company.
Merriken sold the home to Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita for $4.6 million in 2013, had later set the asking price at $6.995 million in March.
The acting and producing couple gave the classic house another upgrade by having Will & Grace set decorator Peter Gurski to redesign the interior.
