Everyone’s favorite true-crime-solving three, Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin, are returning, plus many other well-known actors are joining the ensemble this time.

Paul Rudd joins the cast as Broadway star Ben Glenroy, as hinted at in the season 2 finale, and numerous other actors have been disclosed as the model has shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the shoot.

Here is all the information you need about Only Murders in the Building season 3, including who is joining the cast and what the new season will be about.

Who Are Stars Coming in an Upcoming Episode?

Mabel Mora, Oliver Putnam, and Charles Haden-Savage are played again by Gomez, Short, and Martin, respectively. Gomez also announced that Andrea Martin would be reprising her role as Joy, Charles’ makeup artist and love interest, in a recent Instagram video from the set.

Rudd officially joins the cast of Ben Glenroy in season 3 after making a brief appearance in the season 2 finale.

According to John Hoffman, co-creator of the show and executive producer, the actor’s appointment “was a true bit of dream casting for us,” adding that “several twists await surrounding the story of ‘Ben Glenroy’ in our season 3.”

Jesse Williams, a former Grey’s Anatomy actor, was also revealed to have a recurring role as a “documentarian with a particular interest in the case that Mabel, Charles, and Oliver are working on,” according to Variety.

Meryl Streep will also be joining the ensemble, the actors hinted in January 2023 when Martin released a shot from the set with his former It’s Complicated co-star.

Ashley Park, who starred in Emily in Paris, also joins the upcoming season’s cast. She told E! News that she would be portraying “a Broadway ingénue,” however, there aren’t many other details about her role yet.

Will there be a fourth season of Only Murders in the Building?

Although a fourth season hasn’t been officially announced, considering the show’s popularity and following, it appears likely. Hoffman recently admitted that, unlike other showrunners, he doesn’t have a “five-season plan,” but he is eager to continue the series for as long as Hulu would let him.

“I think there’s a great variety [in terms of the stories that can be told],” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “I know there have been funny discussions about how many murders can be in one building, but I think that’s a fun challenge.”
