In Rian Johnson’s Poker Face, a mystery-of-the-week series, every episode has introduced a brand-new cast, but who makes an appearance as a guest performer in episode 9?
Poker Face follows the amateur detective on a crime-fighting road trip across the US in her faithful Plymouth Barracuda where every rest break offers her a perplexing murder to solve. Natasha Lyonne plays Charlie Cale, a lady with the unusual capacity to discern when someone is lying.
In Poker Face episode 9, Charlie takes on her most perilous case yet as the first season’s finale draws near. But who joins the cast as guests?
Poker Face Episode 9 Cast
Poker Face has featured a number of new cast members each week as Charlie appears in a different place in every episode. Episode 9 is no exception as several well-known faces appear in guest appearances.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Trey Mendez
The episode’s most noteworthy guest star, Hollywood actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays the mysterious Trey Mendez, is where our cast rundown starts.
Throughout a career spanning a whopping 35 years, the Los Angeles-born actor has played close to 100 roles, including standout performances in The Powers That Be, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Disney’s Treasure Planet, 500 Days Of Summer, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Lincoln, and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.
The Brothers Bloom, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Knives Out, and its Glass Onion sequel are just a few of the Rian Johnson productions in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt has appeared, in addition to Brick and Looper.
David Castañeda as Jimmy
Although not having been an actor for as long as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Castaeda has had a successful career.
Following his on-screen debut in 2009, David has since acted in a number of films, including Switched at Birth, Jane the Virgin, Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado, The Guilty, and Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, in which he portrays Diego Hargreeves.
