A man was killed, and several others were injured in a shooting at a 7-Eleven in Maryland near Washington, D.C., on Saturday night, according to police.
A tweet from the Prince George’s County Police Department indicated that officers responded to the report of gunfire at 8 p.m.
As reported by Cpl, a man hit by gunfire was pronounced dead at the hospital. Unique Jones; the number of injuries sustained in the shooting was not disclosed.

The police have said they don’t know the status of anyone who was shot and taken to the hospital for trauma treatment.
The shooting happened just to the east of the nation’s capital, and the convenience store chain has yet to respond to requests for comment from multiple media outlets.
As per Jones, the police are looking into what transpired before the shooting. Furthermore, he disclosed that no one had been apprehended by Saturday night concerning the shooting.
The police department tweeted, “Detectives are on scene attempting to develop a suspect(s) and motive.”
