Nicks postponed the rest of her trip in August out of fear of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

“It’s a tough moment to make tough choices. Rising reports of Covid instances are cause for concern, and I hope that everyone stays safe and well “That’s what she put down on paper.

While I have been vaccinated, I am still taking every precaution possible at my advanced age, thus I have decided to cancel the five performances I had scheduled for 2021.

My entire life has revolved around music, so maintaining my health is a top priority so I can play for at least another decade.

This year’s Grammy winner continued, “I’m devastated and I know the fans are disappointed, but we will look towards a brighter 2022.”

She also planned to make appearances at music festivals like Bonnaroo, Jazz Aspen Snowmass, Sea Hear Now, Sound on Sound, and Ohana, among others, and announced her restricted summer and early fall tour dates in April.

Nicks will still be performing at the rest of the music festivals and will begin her tour on September 13 in Clarkston, Michigan. The final events will take place on Sunday, October 28 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Meanwhile, Christine McVie recently told Rolling Stone that she isn’t “physically up for” one more tour with Fleetwood Mac, but that she is open to the idea.

“As you can see, my health is really bad right now. My incapacity stems from a persistent back condition. Since I play the piano while standing, I doubt I could sit down and perform it.

Just what is it saying? It’s all in one’s head, yet it’s hard to get the body to cooperate “in her words “In this place, I feel most at peace. Maybe someday, but for now I’m not sure if I want to go on tour again.

That’s some serious graft… I’ll just suggest that we might, without committing to anything.”
