JYP Entertainment, home to the K-Pop groups Twice, ITZY, and NMIXX, launched the eight-member Stray Kids K-Pop group in 2018. Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. are among the group’s members.

The members made their debut in March 2018 with their EP I Am Not after taking part in the same-named survival program. On the Billboard 200 list, their most recent album, 5-Star, debuted at the top spot.

It follows MAXIDENT and ODDINARY, both of which debuted at No. 1 in 2022, as the Korean act’s third chart entry and third to do so. Here are the latest details about their car accident in this post.

How Was Stray Kids Car Accident?

A notice from the group’s management company stated that three members of the popular K-pop group Stray Kids were involved in an automobile accident on Wednesday. Although there were no significant injuries, the members—Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin—were told to cancel or postpone upcoming work “for the time being.”

Global Citizen Festival sent their support for the group. “Our support goes out to the members of Stray Kids and our hearts are with Stays everywhere,” the festival posted on X. “We’ll be joined on the Global Citizen Festival stage by Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN, performing as 3RACHA.”

As a result, 3Racha, a side project by Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han who go by the names CB97, SpearB, and J.One, will take over the group’s scheduled Saturday performance at the Global Citizen Festival in New York.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lauryn Hill, BTS member Jung Kook, Anitta, Conan Gray, D-Nice, and Sofia Carson will all also be playing at Global Citizen (Megan Thee Stallion was initially slated but cancelled).

“While returning to their dorms after a schedule on September 20th (Wednesday), the vehicle carrying Stray Kids members Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin was involved in a minor collision,” the agency, JYPE, explained in a statement.

“After the minor collision, Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin immediately visited a hospital and received thorough medical examination. None of the members and accompanying staff in the vehicle were seriously injured, but as they have sustained mild muscle pain and bruises, medical professionals have advised that they receive conservative treatment for the time being.”

“We apologize for causing fans to worry with such sudden news,” the statement concludes. “JYPE will place the artists’ health as the highest priority and will provide everything we can to support their recovery. Thank you.” Here is a Twitter post related to the statement:
