Teen Mom And Infant Among Six Fatalities In California Home Shooting: According to officials, six people were shot dead inside a California home overnight, including a 17-year-old girl and her 6-month-old child. The killings were thought to be the work of a gang.
Around 3:30 on Monday morning, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, a shooting spree took place at a residence on Harvest Avenue in Goshen. Because so many rounds were fired, witnesses who contacted 911 first described the incident as an “active shooter situation,” according to ABC30.
Three victims were found in the home’s doorway when deputies arrived. Inside, three more victims were discovered. One victim passed away in a hospital, while five were pronounced dead. Investigators claim that an older woman who was shot while she was sleeping was one of those who died.
According to the deputies, the teen mother and the child were shot in the head. They are still unnamed. According to Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux, two more people inside the home at the time of the massacre managed to escape by hiding.
