Tekken 8 Release Date

Tekken 8 Release Date: Bandai Namco Entertainment 2022 launched the fighting video game Tekken 8. The clash between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima occurs in this sequel to the Mishima Saga story from Tekken 7, making it the actual finale of both the Tekken and the Mishima Saga stories.

On February 10, 2021, Tekken 8 was released in Japan for arcades. Then, on May 11, 2021, it gets an upgrade called “Tekken 8: Judgement Justice,” which features new characters from the Tekken prequels. On December 1, 2022, the console and computer versions of Tekken 8 will be available.

Tekken 8 Storyline

The father-and-son confrontation between Kazuya and Jin will be the main emphasis of Tekken 8’s story mode. Beyond those specifics, Bandai Namco is still very quiet, so we don’t know much about the Tekken 8 story mode.

We should learn more about the game this week, as Tokyo Game Show is now taking place.

Tekken 8 Release Date

Tekken 8 Release Date

Bandai Namco has yet to announce Tekken 8 or a release date for the game as of this writing. However, we have some hints that assist put the possibility of the next game in some context.

Pro Street Fighter 5 player Rohto|Tokido and Virtua Fighter Producer Seiji Aoki made memorable appearances on a recent edition of Katsuhiro Harada’s chat show Harada’s Bar, which he hosts. Both visitors tried to elicit information from Harada about the upcoming Tekken project.

Harada, as you might expect, declined to provide any specific information; however, EventHubs did discover one intriguing nugget. In more detail, Harada seemed to imply that Bandai Namco and Capcom will work on spacing out any of their announcements or releases.

Harada stated, “We always take care not to overlap release dates. We make an effort not to release at the same time each year. We don’t want to trample on one another. Not that we set up dates or anything. We did some line reading.

We make an effort not to release at the same time each year. We don’t want to suffocate one another. Not that we schedule dates or anything. “We used line reading. We frequently adjusted our announcement so that it did not conflict when Ono provided us the date for a significant Street Fighter announcement, added Harada.

“Rescheduling mainly fell to our shoulders. We only requested a postponement when necessary. Given this, it’s possible that Tekken 8 won’t be released for a while. In fact, given that Street Fighter six is anticipated to debut in early 2023, it’s possible that we won’t see Tekken 8 until the second half of 2023 (at the earliest).

Tekken 8 Trailer

At EVO 2022, a teaser trailer for Tekken 8 was released. It was a brief teaser that featured images from the original Tekken game and harkened back to simpler times.

Since this is a film from the teaser’s presentation at EVO, you can hear the audience roar when they see this updated Kazuya, who is a definite improvement over his Tekken 7 character model.

After this Tekken teaser, we would see a full trailer for the upcoming Tekken game, which made it clear that it would be the series’ next significant installment.

Unlike many game trailers, this one is real-time 60 frames second footage. But changes could be made before the document is published.

The battle between the father and son opponents took place when some well-known gaming mechanisms were in use. The trailer included electric attacks and slow-motion finishers.

What Platforms Will Tekken 8 Be On?

For a long time, it seemed as though Tekken games were only available on PlayStation systems, but in more recent releases, the game has appeared on a broader range of devices. It’s important to remember that the series didn’t debut on the Xbox until Tekken 6 did so back in 2009.

Whatever the case, we anticipate Tekken 8 will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and possibly even the Nintendo Switch. It is unknown if the game is also available on older systems like the PS4 and Xbox One, but given that we are still awaiting the game’s announcement, we believe it is likely that the game forgoes the old-gen consoles.

What Characters Be Will In Tekken 8?

At this point, it is impossible to speculate on the size of the potential Tekken 8 roster, but the game has undoubtedly benefited much from the seasonal format. It’s important to note that Tekken 7 had 36 characters when it was first released, with a ton more appearing in post-launch DLC.

We anticipate that Tekken 8 will begin with a comparable number of characters and aim to continue adding more after the game’s release. It’s clear that the approach has been successful in the past, and while some fans may desire a complete game at launch, this also implies that there would likely be much less content to add to the game.

We anticipate that the game will also draw on various guest characters in the future. Akuma from Street Fighter, Geese Howard from King of Fighters, Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, and even Negan from The Walking Dead appeared in Tekken 7. What direction will Tekken 8 take next?

We’d love to see characters from Virtua Fighter, Darkstalkers, and maybe even Luke from Street Fighter, who seems to be Capcom’s new face of the franchise and would work well in Tekken.

Tekken 8 Games Modes

Story Mode (The Mishima Saga 2)

Like Tekken 7, Tekken 8’s story mode focuses on what happens after Kazuya beats Akuma, his ultimate foe. Tekken 7 has 14 chapters, whereas the story mode has 20. Click here for the story’s outline: Story/Tekken 8

Arcade Mode

In the arcade mode, there are nine stages with six varying degrees of difficulty: elementary, easy, medium, hard, extremely hard, and ultra hard. You can choose from one to three rounds to select the number of games.

The first five stages of the arcade mode will pit you against five randomly selected foes (excluding the Mishima family). The game’s money, Tekken Gold, which can be used to purchase each fighter’s clothing, is awarded to you when you defeat a massive Mokujin in the sixth stage.

Although you won’t receive any Tekken Gold if you lose, you can still move on to the following round. You will engage in combat with Jin (Stage 7) and Kazuya from the seventh stage to the ninth stage (Stage 8). You will encounter True Devil Kazuya as the stage’s last boss.

Survival  Mode

Like Tekken 6, you must battle as many opponents as possible while still having health left, and each opponent you beat nets you Tekken Gold. As a result, as you move forward, the fighter’s difficulty increases. If your health bar is empty, you lose.

Tekken Bowl

Everything is comparable to the Tekken Bowl from Tekken 7, but the balls and pins may be customized much further. Online multiplayer for 2-4 players is also available. By completing story mode, you can access this mode.

Tag Team Mode

The mechanism is the same as in arcade mode, except there are only five stages. You will fight three different character pairs in each of the first three stages, and Jin and Kazuya will be your opponents in the fourth stage. You’ll face up against Devil Kazuya in the final round. A Tekken Tag Tournament 3 teaser is displayed after defeating Devil Kazuya.
