Who are the new cast members in season 3, episode 1 of The Mandalorian? Mando and the cute Grogu have encountered several well-known characters since the show’s inception.

The Mandalorian has finally returned to our screens after a problematic two-year absence, and it picks up the adventure as Mando tries to make amends for taking off his helmet, which is against the authoritarian rules of the Mandalorian Creed.

The first episode of The Mandalorian’s third season introduces many new cast members, putting Mando and his little green buddy in contact with both old and strange people.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 Cast

Pedro Pascal has played the title role in the Netflix series since it debuted in 2019, and as it has gone on, a variety of well-known actors have appeared and disappeared. In season 3, episode 1 of The Mandalorian, the following actors join the cast:

Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder as The Mandalorian stunt doubles

Two cast members who have been there since the show’s start are the first to have their names listed among the series’ leading actors as we begin our cast rundown for episode 1.

Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder are the actors most frequently seen wearing the suit, with Wayne handling scenes involving guns while Crowder, a martial arts expert, is in the case during hand-to-hand fight scenes. Pedro Pascal provides the voice for the actual Mandalorian.

Wayne has appeared in films like Cowboys & Aliens, Sons of Anarchy, Agents of SHIELD, and Devil’s Revenge, among many other former roles that both actors have held.

Tekken: The Movie from 2010, Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Furious 7, The Hunger Games, Captain America: Civil War, Wonder Woman, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle are just a few of the movies Crowder has worked on with stunts.

Tait Fletcher as Paz Vizsla

The voice of Paz Vizsla, who has made multiple appearances in The Mandalorian thus far, may come from the show’s creator, Jon Favreau, but Tait Fletcher is the man who wears the suit. Fletcher will also be recognizable to fans of The Mandalorian as the guy who confronts Mando when he enters the tavern on the icy planet of Maldo On in episode 1.

Except for his brief appearances in The Mandalorian, the actor has taken on more than 60 roles. He made cameos in several films and television shows, including Free Guy, The Harder They Fall, Project Power, Waco, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, and Breaking Bad, where he played a character named Lester in five episodes.

Wesley Kimmel as Ragnar

The talk show presenter Jimmy’s nephew, actor Wesley Kimmel, is a teenager with over ten acting credits. Wesley originally had an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in sketches. Since then, he has appeared in movies including Good Girls, Sneakerheads, WandaVision, Netflix’s Your Place Or Mine, and The Book Of Boba Fett, where he played a Tusken Raider kid.

Parvesh Cheena as Nevarro Copper Droid

Parvesh Cheena, an Illinois native, has approximately 180 parts to his credit throughout his 20-year career. Help Me Help You, Outsourced, Friend Me, A to Z, The Goldbergs, Sean Saves The World, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend are some of his most notable acting credits.

He has also had a booming voice acting career, appearing in Craig Of The Creek, The Owl House, Centaurworld, and Transformers: Rescue Bots.

Taika Waititi as IG-11

Taika Waititi briefly appears as the bounty droid IG-11 in episode 1. However, his lines are almost entirely recycled from his season 1 appearance.

Thanks to his work on movies like Thor: Ragnarok, Love And Thunder, Jojo Rabbit, What We Do In The Dark, Free Man, Our Flag Means Death, and Hunt For The Wilderpeople, the New Zealand-born actor and filmmaker has recently established himself as a household figure in Hollywood.

Marti Matulis as Vane

Marti Matulis, who plays the shady pirate Vane, is another prominent newcomer to episode 1. The actor, born in California, has more than 20 acting credits, the most notable of which include roles in American Horror Story’s season 6 episode of Evil, Teen Wolf, Sleepy Hollow, many Star Trek episodes, and Evil.
