In Season 4, Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) was last seen repairing her career and reputation after tearing up relationships and getting booted off the tour. Midge left Carnegie Hall at the end of the season feeling rejuvenated and equipped to withstand any snow.

After having a realization in front of the snowy billboard for The Gordon Ford Show, Midge is prepared to “move forward” and battle for her ascension to greatness. She is armed with her sharp wit and cutting tongue and has nothing to lose.

Midge finds herself closer than ever to the achievement she has dreamed of in the fifth and final season, only to learn that closer than ever is still so far away.
