Tommy Robinson: Former EDL leader’s website taken offline, says move part of attempts to ‘shut him up’

Domain registrar and leading website hosting provider, Godaddy, is in news again. The far right leader, Tommy Robinson has blamed the establishment to try to shut him up. Tommy’s website was hosted at Godaddy and it appears to have been taken down.

The former leader of EDL (English Defence League) was earlier banned by PayPal because he failed to meet the online payments system’s user guidelines. “We do not allow PayPal services to be used to promote hate, violence, or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory,” the company had said in a statement.

Robinson whose real name is Stephen Yaxley Lennon had earlier hinted that he would attempt to enter mainstream politics as a Ukip candidate
