Vera has had several cast members come and go throughout its 10-year run on our screens, but who appears as a guest star in episode 4 of season 12, The Darkest Evening? ITV’s Vera has maintained its freshness throughout its 12 seasons since each case introduces many new characters for DCI Stanhope to investigate.
The current mystery causes the North East-based investigator, Vera, to confront members of her own family in episode 4 of season 12 of the show.

Main Cast:
- Brenda Blethyn as DCI Vera Stanhope
- Kenny Doughty as DS Aiden Healy
- Jon Morrison as DC Kenny Lockhart
- Ibinabo Jack as DC Jacqueline Williams
- Riley Jones as DC Mark Edwards
