On Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, became the show’s most challenging and recognizable character. Recent reports claim that actress Chloe Bennet will reprise her role as the character, making her main MCU debut in Secret Invasion as a multiverse version.
Bennet, who has denied appearing in the next espionage thriller in the MCU, hasn’t confirmed these claims. Except for Patti LuPone, freshly cast MCU actors haven’t had the best track record when discussing their upcoming roles. Therefore, with Quake, everything is conceivable.
Chloe Bennet Talks About Quake In Secret Invasion
As part of her promotion for her new role in Dave season 3, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star recently chatted with Screen Rant. When asked if she would consider playing Quake once more, she responded that she would. In response to the query about her comeback, she stated:
All admirers of Daisy Johnson could be disappointed by her subsequent response, as she continued:
“I have not once been approached or asked or involved in anything after I wrapped S.H.I.E.L.D. And I am not involved in anything that is coming out. I’ve not been asked, but I would be more than excited to put on the suit again. And, of course, of course, Daisy is a big part of who I am. So, I would love to, but I have not been communicated [with] about it.”

She asserts that she won’t participate in Secret Invasion or any other MCU project, but history raises the possibility that this may not be true.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo repeatedly lied in 2018 about Avengers 4’s title not being Endgame. After then, Andrew Garfield vehemently denied appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021. Tatiana Maslany lied about portraying the MCU character after getting the She-Hulk role.

Therefore, it’s plausible that Chloe Bennet is also lying because doing so might be a requirement of her MCU contract.
A few months back, Charles Murphy of Murphy’s Multiverse criticized Chloe Bennet’s acting abilities. He claimed she wasn’t talented enough to be among MCU actors like Samuel L. Jackson. Bennet called him out, claiming that his tweets wouldn’t hold up over time.
hey man, you seem like a…mean loser?also, i have a strong feeling your tweets aren’t going to age well 😬😎 https://t.co/hHREgcQz7c

Many fans believed she would reprise her role as Quake in Secret Invasion. Bennet probably lied slightly about her return in the most recent interview with Screen Rant.
The character of Quake would be ideal for this program. On MCU’s Earth-616/199999, however, there are no Inhumans, hence she might be introduced as a mutant akin to Kamala Khan.
