The Blacklist Season 10 Release Date: Find Out When It’s Coming!

The Blacklist Season 10 Release Date

The Blacklist Season 10 Release Date

It’s hardly surprising that NBC renewed the crime thriller The Blacklist for a second season because its combination of suspenseful storylines, brisk direction, and excellent performances has kept it going as strong today as it did when it first aired back in 2013.

But what can we anticipate for the following chapter? Here is everything you need to know about season 10 of The Blacklist.

The Blacklist Season 10 Release Date

The Blacklist will premiere new episodes of season 10 on Sunday, February 26 at 8/7c on NBC. The air date has finally been confirmed. For fans, it’s lovely news. The show’s potential audience may expand from Friday to Sunday.

This show will have more like-for-like competition because it will air in a more regular time slot, competing against CBS’s The Equalizer and NCIS: Los Angeles. And regardless of whether the movie is successful or not, we might even end up seeing a Blacklist movie. NBC CEO Jeff Shell said:

“That construct of the windowing combined with the fact that streamers really want movies, movies are driving platforms, has, in my opinion, made the movie business economically better,”

“[NBCU is] making twice as many movies as our nearest competitors, and we’re buying all that content and moving it into Peacock to establish the streaming service.”

The Blacklist airs on NBC and Peacock, so a movie might be a chance to continue the story even if the program ends due to this Sunday night experiment. The Blacklist’s location manager, Tom Scutro, discussed the program’s success in a prior interview with Westchester County Tourism & Film. He said:

“It’s been a great run. It’s hard to believe this all started in 2013. I’ve worked on the show since we started, except for the pilot episode. We’re thrilled to be returning for a tenth season, which we’ll start filming after Labor Day.”

Who is in The Blacklist season 10 Cast?

After viewing the suspenseful season-nine finale, fans can only speculate about who will return for season ten of The Blacklist. Naturally, we anticipate James Spader, the show’s star and executive producer, to reprise his role as Raymond “Red” Reddington, a former criminal turned supergrass analyst.

Regarding the other key players, we would anticipate comebacks from Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix), and Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq).

Amir Arison, who made his television acting debut as FBI Special Agent Aram Mojtabai in the show’s first season, and Laura Sohn, who joined in season six as FBI agent Alina Park, are two prominent cast members who regretfully won’t be returning for the next installment (via Deadline).

You can also check which seasons are officially renewed by the most prominent platforms. We have given the links below:

According to reports, Arison is relocating to perform in The Kite Runner on Broadway, an opportunity he claims he “could not pass up.” Sohn is moving on to work on unspecified projects, but they are not yet known. Arison shared in a lengthy message on Twitter:

“The Blacklist has changed my life – I have made lifelong friends, learned so much along the way, and have met countless wonderful people from all over the world who support the show,”

“It is not lost on me how lucky I am to have been able to work and evolve with a role for nine years with this special cast, crew, and so many dedicated artists.”

Even though Arison is leaving, the door is open for him to make cameos or even a complete comeback in the future as his character’s exit story is that he is leaving the FBI and moving to Brooklyn – the finale even had a nod to his next project by saying that he might see a Broadway show while in New York – and his character is stepping away from the FBI and moving to Brooklyn.

We now know that a new character will make their season 10 debut. Anya Banerjee’s Siya Malik will debut in the upcoming episodes. She has connections to the past, which may delight those who have been watching the show since season one.

She was born to the tragically killed Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra), represented by NBC. By writing “Philly’s Finest” in the description of an Instagram image, Michael Bonini (New Amsterdam) also seems to have hinted that he’ll be showing up at some point in season 10 (via Express).

What Will Happen in the Blacklist Season 10’s Storyline?

The season nine conclusion provided fans with a very decent sense of the way season 10 will go, even though its plot is currently being kept a secret. By the end of the season, we learned that Red’s beloved Elizabeth was killed by his ostensibly devoted advisor Marvin Gerard (Fisher Stevens) (Megan Boone).

However, despite being discovered and dying, he still left Red with one final favor, much to Red’s misfortune. When Marvin ran across Wujing (Chin Han), one of the original Blacklisters from season one, in prison, he explained that he was apprehended because Red and the FBI were cooperating and then handed him a list of other people Red assisted in putting away.

Wujing is now out for blood, equipped with a list of additional Blacklisters he intends to enlist to help him track down and kill Red. Red’s search for vengeance is about to end, but it looks like he’ll get it in season 10.
