The Challenge Season 39

The Challenge Season 39

“The Challenge: World Championship” will premiere on Paramount+ shortly after Season 38 of “The Challenge” on MTV concludes. On March 8th, the competition series will debut, with back-to-back episodes airing in the United States and Canada.

It will decrease the following day in the United Kingdom, Latin America, and Australia. On March 15th, it will be accessible in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and France.

Winners and MVPs from “The Challenge: Argentina,” “The Challenge: Australia,” “The Challenge: U.K.,” and “The Challenge: USA” will all be featured in the cast of “The Challenge: World Championship.”

Even though no one from the MTV flagship took part in the international seasons, the original program will be included in the “World Championship”: A “Challenge legend” will be partnered with each contender.

Per the press release:

“They will help them win power, politic and avoid elimination in order to make it to the most difficult challenge of them all, the brutal finale worth $500,000. In the end, only the most dominant will conquer the game and prove they are not just the best in their home country, but the best in the world.”

With international hosts Brihony Dawson (Australia), Mark Wright (U.K.), and Alejandro “Marley” Wiebe, longtime host TJ Lavin will return as a co-host (Argentina). The announcement of the complete cast will come in the coming weeks.

Kiki Morris and Troy Cullen won “Australia,” while Danny McCray and Sarah Lacina won “The USA.” Argentina and the United Kingdom have not yet announced their winners. Since its inception in 1998, “The Challenge” has strongly emphasized reuniting cast members.

More than 27 other outside franchises, including “Are You the One?,” “Big Brother,” and “Survivor,” have joined since it first started with former cast members of “The Real World” and “Road Rules” The main program, which has been renewed through Season 39, will be impacted by the overseas seasons that will air in Argentina, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, which Paramount+ confirmed will all take place last year.

Bunim/Murray president Julie Pizzi told Variety in June:

“Often, we would have people from other countries on and they had never seen the show,”

“Now, all because of Paramount+, the cast members all over the globe are able to watch it and study it. They’re going in knowing who Wes Bergmann is or knowing who Johnny Bananas is, which is really fascinating.”
