British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak described Glenda Jackson’s passing as “extremely sad.” To a statement from her agent on Thursday (15.06.23), the actor who later joined the Labour Party and won a Tony Award for her work in “Three Tall Women” passed away at 87 while surrounded by family.

After the news was released, tributes from the political and entertainment worlds poured in. The double Oscar winner passed away, and a spokeswoman for Mr. Sunak said: “This is extremely sad news, his thoughts will be with her friends and family at this time.”
