John Pinet Cause of Death: How Did He Die at the Age of 50?

Larry Schapiro, who had been Pinette’s lifelong manager, said on Monday that the musician was “clean and sober” at the time of his death, even though his addictions had taken a “physical toll” on him in the past.

Pinette’s weight has gone from 450 pounds to 250 pounds in the past two years. Schapiro said that the comics he was making were called “They Call Me Slim” and were based on how much weight he had lost.

His manager told him his opening line: “You know how they say in every fat person there’s a skinny person waiting to come out? Well, mine came out, and mine was fat.”

“Earlier this year, Pinette announced to his Twitter followers that he would be taking a hiatus from his profession because he was “physically spent” after dropping a lot of weight and undergoing several minor procedures.”

“Unfortunately, I didn’t give myself enough time to heal this past fall and it has caught up with me, he admitted. However, I am recovering well and will return to the stage as soon as feasible.”

John Pinette’s Impressive Career

Pinette, who was born and raised in Boston, quit his successful job as an accountant in the 1980s to focus on stand-up. As he went on to tour with Frank Sinatra and became a regular guest on The Tonight Show and The View, he became known for making jokes about how fat he was.

He has been in many movies, including Junior, Dear God, Duets, The Punisher (with Thomas Jane and John Travolta), and The Last Godfather (2010). One of his most famous parts was Howie, the fat guy who got his car stolen on the last episode of Seinfeld in 1998.

In 2000, Pinette was nominated for a Gemini Award for his television set at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. This set had already won him the title of Stand-Up Comedian of the Year from the American Comedy Awards in 1999.
