Nic Kerdiles, a former NHL player who died unexpectedly in Nashville on September 23, 2023, has left the hockey world in mourning. Nic, 29, had been enjoying a quieter life since he retired from hockey in 2019 and ended his engagement to Savannah Chrisley, a Chrisley Knows Best celebrity.

Nic Kerdiles, the former athlete, lost his life in a motorcycle accident. He was riding his Indian motorbike in Nashville when he went through a stop sign and collided with a BMW around 3:30 a.m. CST.

The driver of the BMW stopped immediately, and there were no signs that either person was impaired. Sadly, Nic succumbed to his injuries shortly after the accident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Interestingly, he had posted a picture of himself riding his motorbike in Nashville on his Instagram Story with the caption ‘night rider’ just before the tragic incident.

Savannah Chrisley Mourns Nic Kerdiles’ Tragic Loss

Savannah Chrisley, Nic Kerdiles’ former fiancée, is feeling really sad about his death. Nic and Savannah were engaged in 2018 and were on TV shows like Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley. They got engaged on December 24, 2018, but then Savannah decided not to get married in 2019.

Now, Savannah is one of the people who is really sad about Nic’s passing. She shared a tribute on her Instagram Story, saying how much she misses and loves him.

Savannah’s brother, Grayson Chrisley, also talked about Nic’s death on Instagram, saying he can’t believe it’s true and that he loves Nic forever.

The Anaheim Ducks, the team Nic used to play for, shared a tribute on social media, saying they are really sad to hear about his death and sending sympathy to his family.

Before Nic passed away, he and Savannah weren’t following each other on Instagram, but he still followed her brother Grayson, her other brother Chase, and their grandma Faye. Chase also shared his love for Nic on his Instagram Story, saying he lost a brother.
