Oregon Mayor Is Detained After Allegedly Shooting Someone In The Road Rage!
Following an alleged shooting in road rage on Halloween, the mayor of a small Oregon town is now charged with several crimes, according to authorities on Wednesday. The suspect, Dowen Jones, is the mayor of Rufus, a little community along the Columbia River east of Portland.

After the SUV abruptly stopped, the family slowed down to acquire a description of the car so they could report it to authorities. The sheriff’s office reported that a man then got out of the SUV’s passenger side and started shooting the family repeatedly with a revolver.
Although nobody was hurt, the family’s automobile was damaged by the gunshots, according to the authorities. On Tuesday, investigators discovered the SUV and determined Jones to be the gunman.

Jones is charged with one count of attempted murder and four charges of first-degree attempted assault. At the Northern Oregon Regional Corrections in the Dalles, he is being held. The incident is still under investigation.
