Rachel Seattle De@th: The Ginger Beer Founder Dies At 42
In Seattle According to Seattle Met, Rachel Marshall, the creator of Rachel’s Ginger Beer, passed away on Monday. 42 years old.
Her cause of de@th is unknown, although according to Marshall’s partner Adam Peters, it appears to be cardiac arrest.
The ginger beer company was started by Marshall and Peters in 2011. Before opening the first Rachel’s Ginger Beer location at Pike Place Market in the summer of 2013, she started selling ginger beer at neighborhood farmers markets throughout Seattle.
Since then, the business has added three more stores throughout Seattle and has expanded to offer national shipping of its goods.

“Saddened to hear about the passing of Rachel Marshall, a pioneer in Seattle’s food and beverage scene,” Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell said on Twitter. “My thoughts are with the Marshall family and the team at Rachel’s Ginger Beer.”

According to Seattle Met, Marshall is survived by her boyfriend and their two sons.
