Ahsoka Release Date: When Will It Premiere on Disney Plus?

Thanks to an update from the show’s protagonist, fans of Disney+’s Ahsoka have even more reason to be thrilled. Ahsoka Tano, a character from the TV show and movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will make a live-action comeback in the new Star Wars series.

In The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, played by Rosario Dawson, the beloved Togruta she made her live-action debuts before the release of her Disney+ series later this year. Recently, Disney+ classified the 2023 release as “Season 1,” suggesting that a second season would someday be in the works.

Ahsoka Release Date

Ahsoka actor Rosario Dawson disclosed a possible launch timeline for the upcoming Disney+ series during an interview with Hoda and Jenna on TODAY.

After the debut of Haunted Mansion, Dawson stated that the show:

“probably going to come out in the Fall”

“‘Ahsoka,’ that’s going to probably come out in the Fall. We’re going to have ‘Haunted Mansion’ coming out in August [this has been recently pushed to up to late July] first.”

The award for the best live-action debut of all time was given to Ahsoka Tano on February 13, 2023, and it was announced through Kam Kenobi’s Twitter account:

Given that Haunted Mansion will debut on July 28, Ahsoka’s release date will probably fall between September and November. Skeleton Crew, still scheduled to debut in 2023, will come after The Mandalorian’s third season, and Young Jedi Adventures as the next Star Wars premiere.

What Will the Ahsoka Series Be About?

Fans might wonder what else to expect from the new series as more details about Ahsoka are made public, and the cast list keeps getting longer. Fans of Star Wars Rebels will have the chance to see many of their beloved characters and beasts again, including Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Loth-wolves—though the latter is only rumored—as well as other favorites like the droids.
