Triple H Wrotw on Twitter in respect of Bray Wyatt’s Death:

After joining the company’s developmental talent in 2009, Rotunda was promoted to the main roster in 2010 as Husky Harris, a member of the stable The Nexus. Wyatt’s career didn’t take off, though, until 2014, when he released The Wyatt Family alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Before being let away from the corporation in 2021, he would give depth to the “Bray Wyatt” character by introducing a sinister “The Fiend” persona.
During this period, Rotunda fought and defeated such legends as Randy Orton, John Cena, and The Undertaker in route to winning two WWE titles.
Rotunda’s introduction as The Wyatt family won over the audience right away. A lot of people thought the gimmick was the “next Undertaker” because of how refreshingly dark and twisted he seemed. The arena’s lights would go out as he entered carrying a lantern to the accompaniment of ominous music.
He coined catchphrases like “Follow the Buzzards” and “He’s got the whole world in his hands” to demonstrate his mastery of crowd psychology, a skill few wrestlers possess. Rotunda introduced “The Fiend,” a supernatural being with a horror mask, in 2019. Even when a calm ‘Bray Wyatt’ presented the family-friendly farce called The Firefly Funhouse, The Fiend became one of the most divisive personas on WWE TV.
In 2022, after a year away from the company, Rotunda returned to tremendous acclaim; in his second performance upon his comeback, he dramatically addressed the WWE crowd. Two of his strikes were on the mysterious ‘Uncle Howdy’ who was said to be haunting him. A match scheduled for WrestleMania 39 between Rotunda and Bobby Lashley was canceled because he mysteriously vanished.
Around the same time, rumors began spreading that he had been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. He had been absent for around six months when the terrible news broke.
Rotunda was a third-generation athlete from a family with a deep wrestling tradition, and his mind was widely regarded as one of the most inventive and innovative in professional wrestling. His legendary father Mike was a major figure in the industry as Irwin R Schyster in the 1990s, and his legendary grandpa Robert Windham wrestled as “Blackjack Mulligan” in the 1980s.
His entire family was full of wrestlers; including his uncles Barry and Kendall Windham. Taylor Michael Rotunda, alias Bo Dallas, his brother, also worked for the WWE between the years of 2008 and 2021. Jojo Offerman, Rotunda’s wife and a former WWE ring announcer, is left behind to care for their two children. His first marriage, to Samantha Rotunda, lasted from 2012 until 2017, and they have two children together.
