After only six and a half months of dαting, Jana Kramer announced on Thursday that she is engaged to former soccer star Allan Russell. Russell, 42, proposed to her, she said after joking that she’s “had a few things that I have been not been talking about.”
“He took me and the kids – we had some people over during the day — like a little pool party, summer hang. And he took me and the kids, he said it’s a beautiful night, let’s go for a walk,” she said on her “Whine Down” podcast.
She claimed they went to her impending August completion new home in Tennessee and sat on the front porch steps. The country singer, 39, said, “It was a really beautiful night and me and the kids were all … looking out at the view because the view is, I mean, just stunning,”

Russell then called her by name, and before she knew it, he was down on one knee. The 7-year-old daughter Kramer and her ex-husband Mike Caussin share, “And Jolie just started jumping up and down,” Kramer recalled. The ex-couple also has a 4-year-old son named Jace.
“It was like the cutest thing ever. It’s like she knew what was happening”, it seemed as though she already knew what was going on, Kramer continued. “She started jumping up and down and then she was like ‘You’re getting married!’ And then he said — I kind of blacked out at that point. He said some things … and then we just both started crying.”

“It was perfect,” she continued. Jana Kramer claimed Caussin liked Russell and had earlier enquired whether she anticipated their engagement.

“He’s like, ‘Ahh, that’s nice,'” Kramer remarked. “I would have liked to have told him, but I also don’t want Jolie to have to keep secrets from her dad.” Caussin then informed her in a private conversation, “I’m really happy for you and Allan’s a great guy.”
She claimed that she began to cry “because he goes, ‘Of all people, you deserve to have someone that loves you and respects you and you deserve this.’ He’s like, ‘After everything I put you through, you deserve this more than anyone.’ It meant so much to me that he said that.”
Kramer claimed this year that Caussin, from whom she obtained a divorce in 2021, had cheated on her with around 13 different women during their six-year union.
