The father frequently posted photos of his kid Aidan and gushed that he was “so damn cute” in 2014. In a statement released after his passing, his loved ones said, “As we manage this terrible loss, we hold dear the moments we spent with him, both in his kitchens and in our hearts.

“His legacy will forever live on in the love he poured into every dish and the passion he instilled in all of us to savor life’s flavors,” according to the statement. Our hearts go out to Michael’s ex-wife and children, as well as his extended family and all of the fans he won over throughout his remarkable career.

Michael Chiarello became well-known for his culinary prowess. First, in 1982, he completed an associate’s program at the Culinary Institute of America, and then, in 1984, he completed a bachelor’s program in hospitality management at Florida International University.
