Nick Siriani was born on June 15, 1981, in Jamestown, New York. The parents of Sirianni are Fran and Amy. Nick graduated in 1999 from West Ellicott, New York’s Southwestern Central High School, where his father was the head coach. His father is from Calabria.

Sirianni won national titles in 2000, 2001, and 2002 while playing wide receiver for Division III Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. Sirianni started for three years, but as a sophomore, a calf injury and compartment syndrome almost put an end to his playing career.

Sirianni began his coaching career as a defensive backs coach at his alma university, like most coaches do. He spent three seasons as the wide receivers coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
