Power Book II Ghost Season 4 Renewed at Starz: Michael Ealy Joins Cast!

Starz is still working on Power Book II: Ghost. The program will return for Season 4 according to the premium network. The announcement, which comes ahead of the Season 3 premiere in March, confirms the network’s confidence in the show.

In addition, they stated that Season 4 will feature Michael Ealy as a series regular and that filming has already begun in New York. Detective Don Carter, an NYPD officer in line to become the next Police Commissioner, will be portrayed by Ealy in Season 4.

His wife’s death in the crossfire between opposing gangs caused him to abandon his plans. So, Carter instead leads an elite drug task force that “elicits concrete results against drug related violence.” Following his appearance in The Onyx Collective’s Reasonable Doubt, which wrapped up its first season in November 2022, the series is Ealy’s most recent TV appearance.

Also, he is well known for his appearances in the television series Being Mary Jane, The Good Wife, and Stumptown. The Devil You Know, Think Like a Man, and Barbershop are just a few movies he has worked on.

Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming at Starz, commented on the renewal as follows:

“The high-octane drama of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ continues to resonate with our viewers and we’re thrilled to get season four production underway ahead of our season three debut,…It’s clear our fans are ready to devour more of this explosive series and we look forward to having Michael join our incredible cast.”

Power Book II: Ghost is the first of three add-ons to the universe of the primary series Power. Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) is committed to rebuilding his family and trust in Season 3. Tariq, Brayden (Gianni Paolo), and Effie (Alix Lapri) find themselves back in business and under more significant strain than ever before when a new contact materializes.
