Trump Withdraws Lawsuit Against New York Attorney General Letitia James, Ordered to Pay $1m in Fines!
After a judge charged Donald Trump with exploiting the legal system to exact revenge, he withdrew his lawsuit against New York Attorney General Letitia James. According to the case, the former president was the target of a “war of intimidation” against Ms. James.

Less than a day after US District Judge Donald Middlebrooks criticized Mr. Trump for filing a lawsuit on the verge of becoming “frivolous,” Mr. Trump withdrew it on Friday. The judge said the former president frequently sought “revenge on political rivals” through the legal system.
He mandated that Mr. Trump pay about $1 million (£809,190) for a different lawsuit against Hillary Clinton. It was alleged that she and others plotted to “weave a false narrative” during the 2016 election that his campaign was working with Russia.
After one defendant requested sanctions, the case was dismissed in September, and Mr. Trump was later fined. The most recent ruling was made in response to a new request for sanctions by several defendants, including Mrs. Clinton.
As a result of the lawsuit’s “inadequacy as a legal claim” and “political intent,” Judge Middlebrooks labeled Mr. Trump a “mastermind of strategic misuse of the judicial process” in her decision. He said that “no rational attorney” would have filed it. “This case ought never to have been filed.”

The judge mandated that Mr. Trump pay $937,989.39 in fines along with his attorney Alina Habba and her firm, Habba Madaio & Associates. When Mr. Trump filed a case against Ms. James, Judge Middlebrooks also warned that he would be subject to additional penalties.
In the November lawsuit, it was said that Ms. James had waged “a relentless, poisonous, public and unapologetic crusade” against him and the Trump Organization.
