Allison Williams Fiance: Who Has Williams Found Love With Since Her Divorce?
A killer doll has played a role in Allison Williams’ recent success. M3GAN, the movie starring TikTok’s favorite murderous dancer and starring The Girls actor, has been a surprise horror hit at the box office and has generated enough hype to ensure a sequel starring Williams once more.
With the popularity of the movie and the 34-year-old actor announcing the 2023 Oscar nominees on Jan. 24, fans are understandably curious about Williams’ love life, which quietly and significantly changed during quarantine. Williams began dating actor Alexander Dreymon in 2019 and is now engaged.
Before being engaged, the pair made a significant milestone in their relationship by discreetly welcoming their first child in the winter of 2021. After the family and her news anchor father, Brian Williams, were spotted taking a holiday together in the Bahamas in April 2022, PEOPLE claimed that Williams had given birth to a son called Arlo.

The fantasy series The Last Kingdom on Netflix, which had five seasons before wrapping up in 2022, maybe Dreymon’s most well-known work. He had the chance to direct one episode of The Last Kingdom in its last season.
He is also a budding director. Dreymon was born in Germany but spent his early years living in Switzerland, the United States, and France before enrolling at the London Drama Centre to study.
After the Los Angeles premiere of M3GAN in December, Dreymon congratulated Williams on Instagram and quietly revealed their engagement.
“I’m so proud of my gorgeous fiancée,” he wrote, captioning a slideshow of them posing on the red carpet. “Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard on what will likely be a new cult hit.”

Williams was previously married to Ricky Van Veen, a co-founder of Vimeo and CollegeHumor, before becoming engaged to Dreymon.
Before getting engaged during a Bachelor viewing party in 2014, they dated for three years after originally meeting through mutual friends in 2011. A year later, in September 2015, Tom Hanks officiated the couple’s wedding at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming.
Together with Williams’ Girls co-stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet, other A-listers in attendance included Katy Perry, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, Seth Meyers, and others.
Williams and Van Veen were wed for almost four years before their divorce announcement in June 2019. “With mutual love and respect, we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” they said at the time.
“We are grateful for the friendship that we have and will continue to have.” Van Veen is now the Head of Global Creative Strategy at Facebook, and he went on to marry Caroline Cassie (Chelsea Clinton’s business partner) in July 2021.
