Beyond Paradise Episode 2 Cast: These Are This Week’s Special Guests!
Who will join Kris Marshall in the cast of episode 2 of Beyond Paradise when it returns to our screens this week for another riveting mystery? After Shipton Abbott’s endearing introduction in Beyond Paradise last week, the Death In Paradise spin-off this week has one of the most perplexing puzzles DI Humphrey Goodman has ever had to solve.
Episode 2 of Beyond Paradise finds Humphrey entrusted with looking into the disappearance of an entire family while adjusting to his new circumstances. Several new cast members also cross his way.

Beyond Paradise is planned to follow a central cast of people throughout the series, with each episode introducing several guest stars, much like the original Death In Paradise series.

Jamie Bamber as Archie Hughes
In episode 2, Jamie Bamber appears on Beyond Paradise as Archie Hughes, Martha’s ex-boyfriend. Fans will probably recognize the 49-year-old actor from one of his 60+ acting appearances that span a 25-year career, including Battlestar Galactica, Law & Order: UK, Monday Mornings, The Smoke, NCIS, ITV’s Marcella, DI Ray, and Strike Back.
Edward Rowe as Matthew Colbert
In episode 2, Edward Rowe plays Matthew Colbert, the father of the family who vanished. After his on-screen debut in 2015, the actor has starred in several high-profile productions, including Alex Rider, The Witcher, House of the Dragon, the BBC crime thriller Strike, and the video game Elden Ring.
Jaye Jacobs as Laura Colbert
Jaye Jacobs is paired with Edward to play his on-screen wife, Laura Colbert. The actress, born in Bath, is most known for playing Donna Jackson in Holby City for a long time, from 2004 to 2022. She has also appeared in shows like Millie Inbetween, Waterloo Road, Midsomer Murders, and Still Open All Hours.

Ruth Madoc as Rosie Colbert
Veteran actress Ruth Madoc plays Rosie, Matthew’s mother, in her final dramatic performance before passing away at 79. Hi-de-Hi! is where TV viewers will most likely recognize Ruth from her time there, but she has also had essential roles in Hunters Walk, 1971’s Fiddler On The Roof, Animal Ark, Jack Of Hearts, Little Britain, Mist: Sheepdog Tales, Doctors, and Casualty.
Ella Kenion as Dorothy Trowman
Ella Kenion, a seasoned performer, joins the episode 2 cast as Dorothy Trowman, the nosy neighbor. Ella is probably best known to viewers as Mrs.
Cakeworthy in The Green Green Grass, but she has also made appearances in 101 Dalmatian Street, The Knight Before Christmas, The Catherine Tate Show, Hardware, We Know Where You Live, and the children’s programs Q Pootle 5, The Hive, Swashbuckle, and The Pinky And Perky Show.
Dan Ball as Christopher Bromley
Dan Ball has made several appearances on our screens, notably in season 2 of Carnival Row on Prime Video. He has appeared in Doc Martin, The Undeclared War, and the 2021 movie Locked Down.
Phil Daniels as Marvellous Harris
London-born As an actor with almost 100 roles on his resume from 1972, Phil Daniels has a wealth of experience. His credits include appearances in shows like EastEnders. I Hate Suzie, House of the Dragon, Endeavour, the Only Fools And Horses prequel Rock & Chips, New Tricks, and Time Gentlemen, Please, among others.
