Cameron Police Officer Ki!!ed While Protecting the Community!
A Gunshot killed two suspects and a police officer in Cameron. Around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Milam County Sheriff’s Office, Cameron police were called about a shooting in the 700 block of North Travis.
A woman reported to the police that her husband had shot her in the back of the neck. When Cameron police searched a home on East 7th Street using a warrant, the suspect attαcked them and began firing at them.

According to the Milam County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Lee Clouse, 39, was wounded and rushed to the hospital where he passed away. The suspect, 29-year-old Albert Rafael Acosta, was also shot and ki!!ed at the site.
The woman’s injuries required hospitalization as well. Her condition is currently unknown. The Texas Rangers are looking into it.
To assist the officer’s family who passed away in the line of duty, the Central Texas chapter of the 100 Club has activated its Survivor Fund.

The Survivor Fund has been activated by The Club twice this year. In late 2022, it had already responded to the deαth in the course of duty of Austin Fire Department Battalion Chief Travis Maher.
