Does Putin Have Cancer: Is Putin Is Terminally Ill With Cancer?
According to the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Vladimir Putin has been terminally ill for a “very long” time and may pass shortly.
Kyrylo Budanov, citing those close to the president, claimed that Kyiv thinks the 70-year-old Russian president has cancer.
“He has been sick for a long time; I am sure he has cancer. I think he will die very quickly. I hope very soon,” he told ABC News.
Some have argued that Putin’s demise is required to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, including a US senator.
When ABC correspondent Britt Clennett remarked that Putin’s death might not stop the invasion, Budanov responded that the fight “should be resolved” before he passes away.
When asked how precisely Kyiv is aware of Putin’s illness, Budanov replied: “We believe it to be cancer. We only know it because of human sources.”
Since Putin’s invasion of Ukraine began in February, there have been numerous rumors that the dictator is unwell, including those that he has Parkinson’s disease or cancer.
According to leaked audio obtained by New Lines magazine, an oligarch with ties to the Kremlin seemed to insinuate that Putin had blood cancer and was “extremely unwell,” which is where the rumors seem to have started.
However, a former CIA official cautioned the journal that Russia has an “instinct” to disseminate false information and might be doing it intentionally.
In 2022, several images revealed track marks on Putin’s hands. Some have speculated that this could indicate that Putin is receiving intravenous infusions, from a former British Army leader.
Further rumors have been sparked by video footage showing Putin grabbing onto a desk in an apparent effort to stop his hands from shaking. At the same time, some have argued that “puffy” images of Putin may indicate that he is taking steroids as part of his cancer treatment.
US intelligence seems split on whether the former KGB spy has a terminal illness.
According to officials who spoke to Newsweek in June, Putin was reportedly treated for “advanced cancer” in April. Nevertheless, the following month, CIA director William Burns stated at a security conference: “As far as we can tell he’s entirely too healthy.”

Putin may simply be a “hypochondriac,” according to Professor Michael Clarke, a defense and security specialist, who stated in June that there is “no solid evidence” that he has Parkinson’s disease or cancer.
Putin’s health has been disputed by the Kremlin, according to Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, who spoke on French television station TF1. “I don’t think that sane people can see in this person signs of some kind of illness or ailment.”
Although there have been denials, rumors have persisted, and Putin’s decision to postpone his end-of-year news conference for the first time in ten years only fueled the fire.
Some others hypothesized that this was another indication of his failing health because the Kremlin provided no explanation for the cancellation.
However, the UK Ministry of Defence tweeted: “Although questions are almost certainly usually vetted in advance, the cancellation is likely due to increasing concerns about the prevalence of anti-war feeling in Russia.”
