One Piece Episode 1054 Release Date Confirmed at Crunchyroll
Unfortunately, the Japanese release of One Piece episode 1054 has been postponed. What day and hour will the new episode now air globally? For millions of manga readers and anime fans worldwide, the One Piece franchise continues to be a mainstay of the weekend to-do list.
Regrettably, with the news that both the manga and anime adaptations have been postponed, there will now be not one, but two holes in our schedules this weekend in the shape of Luffy.
One Piece Episode 1054 Release Date
One Piece Episode 1054 won’t be broadcasting abroad this weekend as many fans may have anticipated because the domestic broadcast in Japan has been postponed. The planned delay is a result of TV coverage of the Tokyo and Nagoya marathons, which are scheduled to air during the timeslots usually occupied by the well-known anime series.
Rather than move the One Piece animation to a different slot, it was decided to postpone the broadcast. The good news is that episode 1054 will now air on Sunday, March 19, as the official One Piece Anime Twitter page has now been confirmed.
Heads up, One Piece watchers! 🏴☠️
One Piece will be taking a short break beginning this weekend. Episode 1054, originally scheduled to air Saturday March 4, will now launch on March 18.

Eiichiro Oda Wins Shin Watanabe Award
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, was also announced this week as the 18th recipient of the prestigious Shin Watanabe Award for his contributions to the Red theatrical film and the manga.
As shared by Comic Natalie, Oda was recognized not only for the success of the One Piece manga:
“but also for his attitude and ability to comprehensively produce and execute the planning, production, and promotion of the film.”
Oda would share a special message with his fans in response to winning the award:
“honored and humbled to receive this prestigious award from such a distinguished list of names.”
“I wonder how far a single work such as “ONE PIECE”, which started 25 years ago in a small room with a single sheet of paper, can entertain people until today. Now, 25 years later, after having seen it, I feel that “RED” was a combination of the best entertainment I could do and all factors and people I have met in the past.”
