President Biden’s Memorable Moment at Air Force Academy Graduation!

On stage at the Air Force Academy in Colorado on Thursday, President Joe Biden tripped over a barrier, although he appeared unharmed and afterward made light of the incident.

Biden, 80, who had given the military academy graduates’ commencement speech, had just shaken hands with a cadet and was heading back to his seat when he slipped and collapsed.

He was helped back up by Air Force troops, and he didn’t seem to need any more assistance. Biden sprang up and pointed at what appeared to have caught his foot. On the stage, it resembled a little black sandbag.

Shortly later, White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt tweeted, “he’s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands.”

Biden experienced further bad luck when he later returned to the White House via Air Force One and Marine One: he smacked his head while stepping out of the chopper.

He joked to reporters that “I got sandbagged” as he crossed the South Lawn without displaying any signs of injury.
