Rob Marciano Divorce: His Words of Wisdom on Navigating Times of Crisis!
Rob Marciano allows his problems to drift away. The 54-year-old Good Morning America meteorologist spent Saturday at the beach and shared some advice with his 81,000+ Instagram followers.
Rob posted a snapshot of himself on the beach with his feet up, a kite at the end of a long line in the sky, with the caption, “In times of crisis, go fly a kite,” on his Instagram Stories.
He enjoyed the beach day with his kids, daughter Madelynn, 10, and 4-year-old son Mason, after announcing last month that he tested positive for COVID-19 on his 54th birthday.
Eryn Marciano, Rob’s wife of 11 years, filed for divorce privately in 2017; however, the information was only made public this week.
According to court records acquired by PEOPLE, Eryn filed with the Westchester, New York Supreme Court in June 2021. In May, a petition for trial was submitted.
“The last couple of years have been very difficult,” Rob told PEOPLE in a statement. “I didn’t want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing. My focus now is on my kids.”
Eryn, a Westchester real estate agent, did not immediately answer a request for comment from PEOPLE. Their home in Rye, New York, sold for $2.7 million earlier this month, according to data that PEOPLE got from the public.
The couple wed in November 2010, and after filing for divorce, they appear to be co-parenting Madelynn and Mason peacefully. In April, they took the children to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, for spring break.
