2 Killed At Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall In Colorado: On Christmas morning, a married couple was found dead in a suspected murder-suicide at a Jehovah’s Witnesses hall in Thornton. According to the authorities, a hazmat team was looking into “strange gadgets” discovered at the scene.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses described the event as an “unprovoked attack” despite the police providing scant details about what happened on Sunday morning. The investigation is still ongoing, witnesses are being questioned, and the site is being inspected, according to a tweet from Thornton police.
There are still no confirmed threats to the Thornton neighborhood. According to a news release, Thornton police learned of a building fire at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 951, Milky Way, around 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Then, according to authorities, there was a complaint that an adult man had shot and killed an adult woman before killing himself. According to Thornton police, the deceased couple was married and had previously belonged to the Kingdom Hall congregation.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office will reveal their identities through a later announcement. The Sherrelwood Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses released a statement saying, “We are horrified and saddened by the unwarranted attack and loss of life at our Kingdom Hall in Thornton.
“As the authorities investigate the incident, we are assisting them. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those devastated by the horrible acts that claimed the life of an innocent person and put many other people’s lives in danger. We are saying a prayer for all the impacted people’s families.

It’s depressing, he remarked. “Christmas is here.” When Brian Steeplton learned about the event, he was en route to the airport to fly back to Virginia. He decided to stop by Kingdom Hall to show his support for his fellow Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He declared that we don’t fight, and we don’t have weapons. In a statement, Thornton Mayor Jan Kulmann expressed her sadness over the horrific acts that claimed two lives in her community. Violence of this nature is shocking at any time, especially on Christmas Day.
Thornton police had responded to a shooting, Sgt. Adam Sherman of the Adams County sheriff’s office had earlier verified. He claimed that as of Sunday morning, he had no further information. At 10:30 on Sunday morning, Thornton police tweeted that although “there is no active danger,” they were investigating a homicide at Kingdom Hall.
