Numerous publications stated that Frankel and Bernon had split up in October 2020. However, Frankel’s agent then declined to comment on the divorce rumours.
Frankel revealed she had split from Bernon on The Ellen DeGeneres Show a few days later. “You know, not everything works out, and so many people have tried to define my life — our lives — with, ‘When are you getting engaged? When are you having a baby? When are you getting married?’ “ she said.

Frankel and Bernon were revealed to get married in March 2021, although he had proposed in February. Frankel reflected on their decision to keep their engagement a secret, saying, “It felt like a strange thing to announce that just felt counterintuitive.”
