Bette Midler sells her deluxe Manhattan penthouse apartment

Bette Midler, actress and singer has sold her Divine penthouse in New York City. She listed the longtime, three-story property for $50 million in 2019 and managed to secure the full asking price, but we’re sure she’s strutting away with a sizable haul.

When the luxury apartment first appeared on the market, the place topped in most expensive homes.

According to the New York Post her husband, Martin von Haselberg, purchased the Fifth Avenue place in 1996, for $3.5 million, located on floors 15, 16, and 17, the 7,000-square-foot, three-floor unit is two apartments combined. The penthouse residence includes views of Central Park, the reservoir, and the Manhattan skyline.

Picturesque terraces are located in the living room, dining room, and a library, for a total of 3,000 square feet of outdoor space, a huge selling point for city dwellers.

The luxurious setup has an elevator, curved staircase, a double-wide living room, dining area, and eat-in kitchen with customized furniture.

An office and a bathroom are also on the main level. On the lower level, a family room and six bedrooms, along with a dressing room and a fireplace. There are also 6.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, and a private home office.
