Photos and videos of the incident showed that Bloomington police and EMS workers stayed on the scene for several hours, primarily parked outside Nordstrom.
Police continue to urge residents to avoid the area. The shooting took place during a busy shopping season two days before Christmas. According to Scullin, there were 16 police officers or security employees in the mall at the time of the incident, including one officer at a business next to the scene.
