As North American Champion Solo Sikora and Carmelo Hayes were making their way to Shawn Michaels‘ office, WWE wasted no time getting the action going on tonight’s NXT. Michaels welcomed both performers but informed them that Sikoa would have to give up the Title because he wasn’t qualified to contend for it in the first place.
After all, he wasn’t currently on the NXT roster and wasn’t even included in the fan poll. Hayes couldn’t have been happier, but he also received some unfavorable information. Everything will be resolved when a new NXT North American Champion is announced at Halloween Havoc.
After Sikora gave up the Title, Shawn Michaels assured him that even though it hurts and he has experienced the same thing, they are all behind him on SmackDown. Hayes was happy when Sikoa left, but Michaels later said he wouldn’t just be returning the Title to him.
Michaels admitted that he tried to game the system and lost, but he promised he would have another chance to compete for the Title. Michael disclosed that a ladder match for the Title would occur at Halloween Havoc, including Hayes and four other NXT talents.

We’ll have to wait and see who else gets the nod. Still, Wes Lee, Axiom, Nathan Frazer, Apollo Crews, and possibly Cameron Grimes will participate, which should make for an exciting yet chaotic battle.
For the first time since its comeback a few years ago, Halloween Havoc will be a premium live event on Peacock. It will likely have a host, but WWE hasn’t yet revealed who that would be.
