Wrestling Entertainment Has Scheduled A Rematch From Last Week’s RAW For This Week’s SmackDown
On next Friday’s SmackDown on FOX, the new #1 challengers to the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos will be chosen.
The New Day, Alpha Academy, The Street Profits, and Los Lotharios will all play in the Fatal 4 Way. The winners will become the new number one contenders for a title shot against The Usos, most likely at WWE Extreme Rules on Saturday, October 8.
This week’s RAW had the same Fatal 4-Way match, but Braun Strowman, who was making his WWE return, stopped the match. Strowman destroyed both teams, so there was no winner. As of this writing, this is the only match that has been announced for next week’s SmackDown at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
On the WWE Events website, ads for the show feature The Usos, The New Day, Drew McIntyre, and Natalya. Ronda Rousey, SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan, and Shinsuke Nakamura are also featured. Also advertised at the arena is Austin Theory vs. the WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley, which is likely to be the main event of RAW Superstars in the Dark.
WWE announced on last night’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown that next week’s show will feature a rematch from Monday night’s episode of WWE RAW. It was announced that The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis), Los Lotharios (Angel Garza and Humberto), and The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) will be fighting each other in a #1.
This match happened on Monday night’s episode of WWE RAW, but it was cut short by the return of Braun Strowman to the WWE. Braun went down to the ring and beat up all four teams in the match.
Because of this, there was no winner, and the match was called a “No Contest.” As of this writing, this is the only match that has been announced for next week’s SmackDown from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
